| This book is a training tool for capacity development initiatives aimed at educators on rural development, and planners. It is also a useful tool for university professors, students and researchers of the agriculture rural development and education sectors.
This paper published at CICE Hiroshima University proposes to adopt a “rural lens” for analyzing education issues in countries where the majority of the population lives in rural areas. It examines conceptual and practical implications for the evaluation of ‘rural-sensitive’ education. It presents the Education for Rural People (ERP) flagship initiative as an illustration of a creative scheme to mobilize the international community around a rural agenda for education. |
