| This manual is for extension personnel, trainers and trainees for youth and adult education activities for farmers and milk collectors and as a practical reference and training document dealing with systems of milk preservation. It is designed to improve the milk collection in rural areas, the transformation and the commercialization of milk and its related products. Its goal is also to facilitate the development of a milk system at village level, training especially women, to whom the milk collection has been traditionally assigned together with partners of rural development in order to satisfy the nutritional needs of as many people as possible. |
