| This study is a useful tool for teachers in rural areas but also for planners, educators on rural development, and managers of agricultural education. The study provided the ADEA Biennale (2008) with an insight into possible effective strategies for reinforcing the links between school, life and the world of work in post-primary education (lower secondary) in Sub-Saharan African countries by encouraging integration into the curricula of life-related aspects and dimensions thus developing students’ competencies for life and work. The contributors to this study are: the International Bureau of Education (IBE UNESCO) and GTZ.
