The volume intends to provide practical guidance and advice in establishing priorities and in implementing ways to promote, protect and fulfil the right to adequate food. This volume attempts to contribute to a common understanding of what rights-focused monitoring and rights-based monitoring mean. It is a training tool for educators on rural development, and people responsible for planning and monitoring food security, nutrition and poverty reduction policy. It is also a useful tool for university professors, students and researchers of the agriculture rural development and education sectors.
