This publication targets government technicians and training officers, boatyard staff, refrigeration engineers and mechanics, boat owners as well as fishers by providing them with information about the different techniques for using ice (and chilled seawater) on board fishing vessels and the use of ice to preserve the catches. The book describes the requirements, from small insulated containers in dugout canoes, to refrigerated tanks on bigger vessels.
