Our service uses a cross-sectoral approach to the policy, planning and management of activities related to sustainable development, environment and energy. It assists countries in using remote sensing, agrometeorology and geographic information systems to monitor and manage natural resources.

SDRN activities are focused around four interrelated areas: assessment and monitoring, environmental management, geo-spatial data and information, and global environmental change.
