Suggest a Technology

Please, suggest a technology using the form that you can download from this section.

Once the form is completed, send it to teca-editor@fao.org. Our Quality Control Group will evaluate the description of the technology and will contact you after the revision, with further instructions.

Please, bear in mind that the technology must be proven and described in its biophysical and socioeconomic context. The text should be clear and concise. It is strongly recommend the use of pictures and drawings, together with the texts, to make the description more interesting and easy to read. Attach them when sending the form back to the Quality Control Group.

TECA focuses on technologies only. As such, TECA does not include good practices in its database.

Publications and documents that describe methodologies, policies, institutional arrangements etc., that facilitate the dissemination and adoption of technologies are most welcome. These will be included in TECA's technolibrary. For this type of documents, do not use the form. Instead, send them directly to teca-editor@fao.org.

TECA does not document seed varieties, you can refer this data to the Hortivar database.
