Rice Doctor is the field diagnostic tool of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) for identifying factors limiting rice crop growth in the Tropics. It is on-line in Rice Knowledge Bank Web site and offers a list of possible diagnostics by symptoms in the plant, in the crop or in the seed.

Community Environmental Assessment Toolbox: The idea, methods and tools for participatory assessment, monitoring and evaluation in community forestry

Community Environmental Assessment is used to gather information in order to analyze the environmental effects of planned and/or completed activities. The tool provides a framework in which insiders can make observations and judge the value of the change. The value is determined by giving a number value to each environmental factor. In this way an environmental score is established.
