FAO provided support to stimulate new investments in agribusiness in two small-scale economies and Small Island and Developing States (SIDS). In the Cook Islands, FAO facilitated the creation of eleven agribusinesses through a small matching grants facility and the strengthening of 24 agribusiness through mentoring and training. In addition, three youth groups were trained on business and were awarded with further grants by the Bank of Cook Islands, an FAO partner for the project.
