Transformation of Food Systems after the pandemic

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the World Food Program (WFP) and the University of Los Andes are pleased to invite you to participate in the High-Level Workshop on Transformation of Food Systems after the Pandemic: Building bridges between social policies and productive inclusion, which took place on 9 July, 2021, 11 h (Ecuador, Peru) / 13 h (Brazil) / 18 h (CET).

As you well know, the UN Secretary General, António Guterres, has convened a Food Systems Summit in 2021 as part of the Decade of Action to Deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To prepare for the Summit, national, regional and global dialogues are being organized. IFAD, FAO and the WFP have joined forces to significantly contribute to the dialogues that are taking place in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This is the framework within which the High-Level Workshop on Transformation of Food Systems after the Pandemic: Building bridges between social policies and productive inclusion will be held. The objective of this event is to bring together high-level political representatives and international experts to discuss possible reforms and synergies between social protection and rural development programs in the region, for which we would very much like to have your presence. The webinar will be held in Spanish.
