2014 International Annual Meeting: "Grand Challenges—Great Solutions"

The American Society of Agronomy, Crop Science Society of America, and Soil Science Society of America is organizing this annual meeting which will take place from 2- 5 November 2014 in Long Beach, California. 

With World Soil Day and the launch of the 2015 International Year of Soils just around the corner on 5 December, there are lots of key events related to soils already taking place around the globe.

The American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA) will host more than 4 000 leading scientists in industry, government and academia interested in the latest research, product development, and industry advances relating to the field of agricultural sciences and soils.

The annual meeting features nearly 2 500 technical presentations, along with a host of networking events and award ceremonies. The exhibition also features the latest scientific equipment, supplies, services, and reference materials available.

On the 4th November, a session will be dedicated to the Global Soil Partnership (GSP). The objective of this session will be to present the GSP activities including the preparation for the implementation of the International Year of Soils and the establishment of the North America Soil Partnership.
