Third Global Soil Week
The Global Soil Week is a recurring event that took place for the first time in 2012. The aim of the Global Soil Week is to draw the attention of politicians and the public to the forgotten resource soil. Fertile soils are essential in order to achieve the most important global goals such as combating hunger, curbing climate change and securing fresh water supplies.
