My name is Cheong Chuen. I am a 32 years old and live in Chea Sman Village.
I am a chicken and frog farmer. My chickens were suffering from several diseases so I attended a Farmer Field School (FFS) to learn how to immunize chickens.

Food for chickens is costly. I usually feed them earthworms, which are not expensive. They are very high in protein and are a great supplemental feed for my chicken.

I also have to take good care of my frogs.

Once, I only had a few chickens. Thanks to a US$20 loan from the FAO savings group, I managed to build a chicken house. I then paid the loan back and took out a further US $20 to build a chicken coop.

In the past it was difficult times, now my chickens sustain my family and allow me to save some money for other small investments.
Currently I have over a hundred birds with many more on the way, hopefully!
