Seminar on Dynamic Graphics for presenting Statistics

8 March 2007, Rome

OECD and Istat invited to a very interesting seminar held in Rome 5-6 March about dynamical graphical presentation of statistics.

The CountrySTAT Team grabbed the opportunity to listen to excellent lectures and discussions. Our colleagues from FAOSTAT, Mr. Gillin and Mr. Schmidt introduced the WATF Flash Tradeflow applications and many other interesting ideas and projects were presented.

Many institutions and organizations are involved in various projects on graphical issues. Flash and RIA technology is apparently gaining more attention, but the emerging SVG technology is also very promising.
