This training, facilitated by the consulting company Springfield Centre for Business in Development, will take place from 19 November to 1 December 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. It aims to develop participants’ knowledge of and skills in the market systems development approach, helping them to identify the implications and uses of the approach for their organizations. Practical emphasis will be given on intervention rationale, project design and management issues, including markets systems in the wider economic environment and development context, understanding and assessing market systems, sustainability and exit strategies, complementary roles of public and private organisations, supply-side and demand-side intervention approaches and monitoring and results measurement.
