10 Lessons Learned for Facilitating an Inclusive Agricultural Market System

Agriculture is vital to the continued diversification of Nigeria’s economy and to rural prosperity and food security. The complexity of the country's agricultural market system requires a systems approach that encompasses entire targeted value chains and builds links among value chain actors, market demand, and support service providers. The USAID Maximizing Agricultural Revenue and Key Enterprises in Targeted Sites (MARKETS II) team and partners in Nigeria compiled ten cross-cutting lessons learned for facilitating an inclusive agricultural market system.
