This guide provides a field tested and successfully used methodology for conducting rapid appraisals on agri-food chain performance. It provides an introductory section to agri-food value chains and in Section 2 provides the foundations on which to carry out a rapid agri-food value chain analysis. Section 3 provides the methodology in a clear and concise step by step approach. Training aids such as PowerPoints and exercises are forthcoming.
