Milk Producer Group Resource Book - A Practical Guide to Assist Milk Producer Groups

2002

This manual is meant to be a resource book for milk producer groups and people working with these groups. The intended readers are (future) leaders of milk producer groups, extension workers, project staff and group promoters who are working to set up milk producer groups, and those developing already existing groups at village level in rural areas. It can and has been used successfully in training programmes and courses.  It is a basket full of resources from which parts can be selected that l are helpful and importantly meaningful for identified training needs. The manual is definitely not a 'blueprint' manual, because standard formulae for working with milk producer groups do not exist. Every group is different because the group members are different, as well as the group environment, cultural setting, government rules and regulations.
