The publication is intended as a first step or introduction to FAB training. It can be used in farmer awareness and sensitization programmes on FAB prior to commencing more formal FAB training programmes. The approach used in the story book  is intended to pave the way for more formal FAB training programmes. The FAB storybook has been prepared in a way that allows for local adaptation, to cater to the needs and necessities of local circumstances and is furnished with Power Point slides.  The FAB story book has been field tested.
