The Global Partnership on Forest and Landscape Restoration (GPFLR) - Case studies

The Global Partnership on Forest and Landscape Restoration is a proactive network that unites governments, organisations, communities and individuals with a common goal. The partnership was initiated with the purpose of catalyzing and reinforcing a network of diverse examples of restoration of forests and degraded lands that deliver benefits to local communities and to nature, and fulfil international commitments on forests. GPFLR believes that ideas transform landscapes. On this website, some examples of where Forest and Landscape Restoration has been or is being implemented are presented undes Cases section. For a complete overview of the learning sites, is possible to click on the interactive map. The sites, tools and policy initiatives of the members of the Partnership represent a variety of geographical areas, stakeholder groups, socio-economic conditions and restoration strategies. They show diversity of conditions and capture the richness of how different stakeholders are addressing land management issues.
