Forests and Human Health Newsletter 1/2014

Author(s) Imai, M.
Year of publication 2014
This website presents various articles about collaboration between researchers in universities and research institutes. The successful launching of Forest Therapy Bases® or Therapy Roads® with the support of The International Society of Nature and Forest Medicine (INFOM) in Japan is a good example of innovative multi-disciplinary scientific work to utilize forests to improve human health. Increased collaboration with Japanese researchers has proved to be beneficial also in European research projects, which aim to elucidate the medical effects of the forest environment on the human body.
