Certificación forestal

El módulo de Certificación forestal ofrece información básica y más detallada sobre la certificación forestal como un mecanismo voluntario basado en el mercado y otorgado por terceros para propiciar la utilización sostenible de los recursos forestales. El módulo explica lo que es la certificación forestal, las diferencias entre la certificación de la gestión forestal y la certificación de la cadena de custodia, expone los beneficios y los costos que conlleva y describe los pasos que un responsable de gestión forestal debe seguir para obtener la certificación. Ofrece además enlaces a herramientas y estudios de casos para fomentar el acceso a la certificación forestal, su cumplimiento y utilización.
