Senior Soil Scientist at IRD

As a soil scientist and expert, he was hired by FAO as a consultant to develop the tool in 2009-2010. His main fields of expertise are the evaluation of the soils' role in forest and agricultural ecosystems, in the global climate change context and in carbon sequestration. He holds training on EX-ACT in Latin America and participates in the reviewing of papers and articles.

Louis BOCKEL

Agricultural Policy Support Officer

He is at the same time the team leader and the originator of the EX-ACT design. He carries out the technical supervision, the orientation of the development and the dissemination of the tool, looking for new partnerships and collaboration to encourage a broader use of the tool in project and policy appraisals. He also organizes and participates in EX-ACT trainings and workshops.

Patricia GORIN

Climate Change and Environment Officer

Patricia takes part in paper publications, case study appraisals and trainings on the tool. She is also in charge of promoting EX-ACT through inter-agency meetings in Geneva and abroad during sub-regional workshops in several parts in the world (Asia, Africa, Middle East).

Madeleine JÖNSSON

Junior EX-ACT consultant

Madeleine works on the development of EX-ACT in various areas (publications, trainings); she is also working on the MICCA project (Mitigation of Climate Change in Agriculture) and is using the EX-ACT tool to assess the on-going MICCA pilot projects in Kenya and Tanzania.

Rocio SANZ CORTÉS

EX-ACT consultant

Rocio carries out the dissemination of the tool in Spanish speaking countries. She is an EX-ACT trainer and is responsible for the translation and preparation of training material in Spanish.

Ophélie TOUCHEMOULIN

Junior EX-ACT consultant

Ophélie participates with the other team members in paper publications, case study appraisals and trainings/workshops. She is also in charge of the communication through website management and newsletter diffusion.
