In this section various power point presentations are provided. They are following the modular structure, gradually explaining the content of the tool.
Target
The user guides are aimed to help a novice user to understand how to fill in the different modules, in the form of EXCEL sheets, of the tool.
Data collection
Before completing the EX-ACT software, it may be useful to firstly focus on the data collection required in order to run the tool, especially if the person who collects the data is unfamiliar with the EX-ACT tool. Here you may find a file that can be either printed or completed in EXCEL during fieldwork before entering the collected data into the EX-ACT tool.
Required data
- land use (annual crops, forest, degraded lands...) - certain agricultural practises (residue burning, kind of improvements...) - areas in ha - amount of inputs (fertilizers, fuel, electricity...)
