领域的专业知识应用于实地。它按照成员国的需要，把专业知识、资金和发展伙伴结合起来，在反饥饿的斗争中取得可持续的成果。该部与 各技术部、下放办事处
和 成员国密切合作实施和协调粮农组织的实地活动，通过这些合作使粮农组织的项目和计划有效地解决影响农村人们生活的问题。
技术合作部致力于联合国千年发展目标，尤其是消灭赤贫和严重饥饿的目标。

Diouf: world must seize chance to boost agriculture
