Developing a regional agricultural strategy in support of the joint UN Al Ghab Regional Development Programme launched by the Government of Syria. The project will assist the Government at both the National and Decentralised level to formulate a policy framework and a regional investment programme aimed at achieving the overarching objective of a a competitive, internationally-oriented, environmentally and socially sound agricultural and non-rural sector for bettering livelihoods, enhancing food security, and improving living standards in Al-Ghab region.
