Strengthen capacity to respond to food crisis through more comprehensive monitoring and analysis of food prices and of short and long-term policy developments affecting food security in developing countries. Through the policy monitoring and analysis component, the project supports the establishement of Food and Agriculture Policy Analysis (FAPDA) system in FAO Regional and Sub-Regional offices and contributes to supporting policy analysis for member governements and regional bodies.
