The mission travelled to Maputo from 21 to 25 May to support the country office in the formulation of the Country Programming Framework (CPF).
Mozambique is a Delivery as One Pilot and as such the FAO assistance programme is fully reflected in the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF), which covers the period 2012-2015.
The mission's main effort and that of the country office team was therefore to derive the CPF from the UNDAF and to single out the FAO contribution to UNDAF in terms of priority areas of intervention, results to be achieved by FAO and indicators to measure the individual achievements of FAO.
The four days of the mission were mainly devoted to the preparation of the results chain and on ensuring consistency of the CPF results chain with national priorities, UNDAF, and FAO mandate and comparative advantages.
