Objectives
The objective of the mission was to spearhead a capacity needs assessment of AUC/DREA and NPCA with the view to formulating a Medium-Term Capacity Building Programme for the two continental institutions in the context of the UN 10-Year Capacity Building Programme.
Outputs
The key outputs of the mission included: (i) the commitment of AUC/DREA and NPCA to the AFSRDC agenda was ascertained; (ii) methodology, scope and timeframe for the capacity needs assessment and formulation of a proposal was clarified; and (iii) the schedule and agenda for the next AFSRDC meetings were agreed upon.
