Training workshop on EX-Act
A four-day workshop was organized in the FAO office in Antananarivo, Madagascar from 26 to 30 March 2012.
Training objective
To train and inform policymakers, researchers, project managers, development environmental economists and extension officers on Climate Smart Agricultural (CSA) practices and how to mainstream CSA in policies making, planning and their implementation. Participants were provided step-by-step training on how to use EX-ACT while developing agricultural and forestry projects.
Possibille next steps
The EX-ACT team discussed the possible opportunity for developing a national platform to support the use and the diffusion of the CSA and EX-ACT, to be integrated within existing platforms and development programmes.
