Why partner with FAO?

FAO has strong credentials as a global player in the field of food and agriculture. Among these are:

  • Over 50 years of experience in agricultural development;
  • Credibility with governments as an objective adviser;
  • Ability to attract complementary partners and resources for partnerships;
  • Access to a wide range of public and private development organizations including other UN system agencies;
  • Unique in-house capacity for the formulation of investment projects through the FAO Investment Centre;
