BIPPs are prepared in priority areas defined in the Maputo Declaration (water control and rural infrastructure) as well as in other areas identified by each country in accordance with its specific needs. These are anchored to and derive from the national strategy and the NMTIP and could be considered for funding by the International Financing Institutions and Donors' community.
