Les Directives volontaires sur les régimes fonciers ont pour objectif de promouvoir la gouvernance responsable des régimes fonciers applicables aux terres, aux pêches et aux forêts, en prenant en compte toutes les formes de régimes fonciers: publics, privés, communautaires, autochtones, coutumiers et informels.
