Donor contributions

Millions of farmers and fishers in coastal areas have been affected by the Tsunami disaster. Strong support from donors has allowed FAO to provide assistance to those victims and restore the livelihoods of vulnerable fishing and farming families. So far, FAO received more than US$63 million under the UN Flash Appeal and FAO provided US$1.5 million from its own resources.
