July 30: Launch of the educational exhibit on the work of Alberto Manzi. As part of the collaboration with the Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna, KIP International School will host in its pavilion a photo exhibit on Alberto Manzi, an italian school teacher and write renowned for hosting the TV show “Non è mai troppo tardi” (It’s never too late) broadcasting real life primary school classroom lessons, with revolutionary concepts in didactic methods for those times. The exhibit has a focus on Manzi’s engagement in the fight against hunger and will be launched during a press conference on 30 July at 10.30 AM with Simonetta Saliera, President of the Lesiglastive Assembley of Emilia-Romagna, and Eliana Haberkon, FAO member of the UN-EXPO Team.
July 31-1: Celebrating Diversity and Intercultural Dialogue through Arts. This event is promoted by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), under the patronage of Expo Milan 2015 and in cooperation with the City of Milan and Il Tamarindo Cultural Association, and includes a presentation on the UN participation at Expo Milano 2015 by a representative of the UN-EXPO Team.
