The UN-Expo team has identified strategic partners for the UN at Expo Milano 2015 including the European Union and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. As part of these partnerships, many UN specialists participate in events organized by the EU at Expo 2015.
These events aim at fostering a dynamic and in-depth discussion around how to feed the world healthily and sustainably through the organisation of conferences and events dedicated to the theme of Expo Milano 2015.
An ambitious EU calendar of more than 200 events is foreseen to address global food security challenges through scientific, policy, business to business (B2B) and cultural events. These events will offer something for everyone from young people to high level scientists and policy makers. Our goal for the Expo is to create a lasting legacy that will shape the global debate and contribute to finding solutions to ending world hunger post 2015.
