Office of UN Coordination and Millennium Development Goals Follow-up

The Office of United Nations Coordination and Millennium Development Goals Follow-up acts as the FAO Focal Point at the policy level for partnerships and coordination with other parts of the United Nations system.

Located at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy, the Office also acts as a catalyst for FAO's contribution to achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Whilst working closely with a network of Headquarters Focal Points, FAO decentralized offices and UN counterparts on specific thematic areas, the Office is responsible for fostering systematic and proactive FAO contributions to policy coherence and inter-agency coordination.
