1. The attached Conference document (C 99/8) is presented to COAG for review and comment on achievements under those technical programmes which fall within its mandate, i.e. Major Programmes 2.1: Agricultural Production and Support Systems; 2.2: Food and Agriculture Policy and Development; and 2.5: Contributions to Sustainable Development and Special Programme Thrusts.

2. COAG is specifically directed to review the sections given below. General background data giving an Organization-wide summary is provided in Chapter 2.

3. Lastly, the Organization-wide report on unscheduled and cancelled sessions is given in the Annex.
