Research Group of the Standing Technical Committee of the EuFMD (AGA-705)

The Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease has the possibility to establish, "temporary, special or standing committees to study and report on matters pertaining to the purpose of the Commission". The only standing Committee established at present is the Research Group (RG) of the Standing Technical Committee, which meets every year.

Once every two years the Group holds an open meeting with observers, the other year being a closed meeting for the members of the Group only. The RG studies and reports on subjects submitted for examination by the Executive Committee or by members of the Group.
