Soil pollution may be invisible to the human eye, but it limits a soil's capacity to provide essential ecosystem services and the production of safe and nutritious food.

In the framework of the World Environment Day and the launch of the recently declared UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), the Global Assessment of Soil Pollution report will be launched virtually via zoom platform on 4 June 2021 from 12:30 to 14:30 CEST.
