Opening session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS), with statements by the CFS Chair, FAO Director-General, WFP Executive Director, IFAD Vice President and others.

The CFS is expected to adopt the Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems.There will also be policy round tables on food losses and waste in the context of sustainable food systems and the role of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture for food security and nutrition.
