The Forum brings together a wide range of stakeholders who have experience of the issues, challenges and ways to improve access of smallholders to markets. The objective of the Forum is to discuss policy implications, challenges and lessons learned from farmers have found opportunities to engage in beneficial and sustainable linkages to markets.

The High-Level Forum aims to:
• reach a common understanding of the opportunities and challenges for smallholders when accessing markets
• identify ways in which CFS can contribute to addressing those challenges
• arrive at broad recommendations on areas for priority action to strengthen smallholder access to markets
