The session is open to all FAO Members from the Europe and Central Asia region, representatives of UN bodies and specialized agencies, and selected Observers. A Ministerial Roundtable on Wednesday 4 May will discuss the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), their implications for agriculture and rural development in the region, and how FAO can contribute to their achievement. Another main topic for discussion, on Thursday 5 May will be priorities for FAO’s work in the region. The trends, development objectives and challenges of the region will be presented.
