To realize fish’s contribution to food security and nutrition, this seminar discusses how to make existing databases, tools and capacity building efforts visible, accessible and utilized to inform fisheries and nutrition policy.

 

The seminar will include a presentation of the FAO/INFOODS Global Food Composition Database for Fish and Shellfish, which is the first edition of a global compositional database [uFiSh] providing nutrient values for selected fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
