The World Water Day (WWD) is held annually on 22 March to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This year’s theme for WWD is “Leaving no one behind”. The event will highlight how improvements in water resources management and access to water supply and sanitation services are essential to overcoming poverty and addressing various other social and economic inequities.
