Soft Launch of the Technical Platform on the Measurement and Reduction of Food Loss and Waste

The Technical Platform on the Measurement and Reduction of Food Loss and Waste, a new model to access information and share and exchange knowledge, was launched during an event addressed by the Director General, with the delivery of remarks by a number of high-profile speakers.
The Platform integrates the Community of Practice on Food Loss and Waste established with funding support from the Swiss Development Cooperation.
It serves as gateway to accessing information on the measurement, reduction, policies, alliances, actions and examples of successful models involving innovative technologies and approaches applied globally to reduce food loss and waste, with links to other related platforms.
