Indigenous Peoples’ Food Systems Insights on Sustainability and Resilience from the Front Line of Climate Change flagship book launch.

On Friday 25 June, at 12:30 pm, Central European Time, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will present a new report that reveals the unique ability of Indigenous Peoples to feed themselves sustainably, while also warning on the growing threats affecting their resilience, which is putting at risk the future of their communities, their habitats and the biodiversity of species of plants and animals preserved in the ecosystems where they live.
At a high-level event to be opened by FAO Director-General, Dr QU Dongyu, the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT will join FAO in releasing the publication, “Indigenous Peoples’ food systems: Insights on sustainability and resilience from the frontline of climate change”.
