This event will focus on biodiversity and, in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, highlight the need to 'build back better', in harmony with the nature that our ecosystems and health depend on. With high-level participation from the FAO Director-General, the Executive Secretary of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Director-General of the World Animal Health Organisation, the event will discuss how sound ecosystem management is the solution to achieve food security and protect human health while contributing to the conservation of biodiversity and climate adaptation and mitigation.
