The Second Global AgriKnowledge Share Fair, jointly organized by Bioversity International, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), and the World Food Programme (WFP), took place at IFAD Headquarters from 26 to 29 September 2011.

This four day event was an engaging, exciting and “out-of-the-box” opportunity to learn and share knowledge, discuss and explore experience and innovations on topics such as climate change, food security, markets and private sector, mobile technology, youth, to better influence future rural development activities.

Over 160 presenters shared their innovative experiences and knowledge by applying a number of knowledge sharing methods such as world café, chat shows, peer assist, fish bowls, open space. A full day was dedicated to training and learning about these methods as well as tools to support knowledge sharing.

An active group of social reporters covered the sessions taking pictures and videos, writing blog posts, tweeting and bookmarking. That is the reason why even if you could not make it to IFAD for the event, you can still find out about the outputs of the event on the Share Fair Web site. For each session, sorted by theme, you can find links to blog posts, videos, photos and web casts.
