The territorial dimension
Farms and households contribute to territorial dynamics, as farming activities and other activities are based on natural resources (for example, grazing, hunting and foraging). Decision-making at household and farm level takes place in a territorial context, with a given set of resources (organization density, market access and policies) that will influence the process at farm-household level. This, in turn, will impact the natural assets of the farm and the territory more widely.
